My daughter was looking at my baby scrapbook this morning, and she found these images of me and my mom on Mother's day in 1975! I thought they were so cute, that I had to post them. It was my first Mother's day with my mom, and her first as a mom. Isn't my mom just SO CUTE!
Would it be rude to say I have the best mom? Well, I do!!! She is the best, and I love spending time with her. She is SO GREAT to my kids, and they love her SO MUCH! She was always the "cool mom," and my friends still ask about her. She still is the "cool mom." I love our weekly trips to the thrift store, talking to her every day, and the fact that she still tries to boss me :) Well, I boss her now a little bit too.
She always wanted to be a mom, and it is her greatest accomplishment!
This pic was on the same page when I scanned the photos. I just had to include it, because it looks so vintage with the bird mobile and me in my bonnet. Looks like I was in a crib outside.
